Privacy Policy

HandaroAI Inc. ("we", "us") publishes the House of Prize mobile app for iOS and Android (the "App"). This policy covers the App only.

1. Accounts, advertising and tracking

The App does not require an account. There are no advertisements, analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, in-app purchases or cross-app tracking. The seven board games and their AI opponents run on your device. HandaroAI does not operate an expedition server or receive your location readings.

2. What stays on your device

Game records, settings and expedition progress are not uploaded to HandaroAI. Your device backup may include local app data under your Apple or Google account, governed by their policies.

Arrival-check readings and movement paths are not saved. Search readings and results may be held in memory; search results expire after 15 minutes. When you register a personal spot, its name and the location you confirm are saved as part of a started expedition. Personal spots are not published to OpenStreetMap.

Use Settings → Delete my game records to remove board-game history. Use Reset expedition data and Reset test expedition data to erase each expedition store separately. Removing the App removes its local data, subject to your platform's backup and restore settings.

3. Optional location and network requests (version 1.1)

The App requests foreground location permission when you ask to search for nearby places, register a personal spot or confirm arrival. Precise location is needed for arrival checks. There is no background location tracking. You may decline or revoke location permission; board games, puzzle practice and simulated Test expedition remain available.

Find nearby places	A search center rounded to three decimal places (about 100 metres), search radius, place categories and your network IP address are sent over HTTPS to the place-search provider identified in the App. The initial test builds use FOSSGIS Overpass with OpenStreetMap data. Three decimal places can still identify a precise area and are not anonymous location data.
Load street map	Requested map tile areas, IP address and normal HTTP headers are sent over HTTPS to OpenStreetMap tile servers. The map may show the places you have chosen or an area you pan to. Tiles load only after this action; there is no bulk offline map download.
Open in Maps or a place-information link	The selected destination or page is opened in an external app/browser. Your measured current position is not appended to the link. The external service may request or process additional information under its own settings and policy.

Ordinary board-game play, simulated expeditions and arrival checks do not send location readings to these map providers. Nearby search and street maps require a connection and depend on third-party availability.

Providers receive requests directly from your device and may retain server logs under their own policies. We do not promise that their processing is anonymous or temporary. Please read the FOSSGIS privacy notice and OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. A different production place provider will be identified in the App and this policy before public release.

The App does not request access to your contacts, calendar, photos, camera, microphone or health data. Sound effects are bundled files played locally.

4. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. Outdoor play requires attention to local conditions, public access and opening hours. We do not provide social messaging, public user profiles or public sharing of personal spots.

5. Your choices and requests

You can use offline features without location permission, decline map loading, revoke permission in system settings and delete local records as described above. For questions or privacy requests, contact us below. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you include so we can reply. Do not include your precise location or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Third-party map services process the requests described in section 3; consult their notices for retention and request procedures.

6. Changes

We update this policy and relevant store disclosures when app features or providers change. The version scope above distinguishes the existing offline release from the location-enabled update.
